TODA is a community-driven organization dedicated to hosting various events and bringing individuals with dwarfism and their families together across Ontario.

Who We Are

The Ontario Dwarfism Association (TODA) is a volunteer run organization based in Ontario. Our mission is to host on-going events throughout the year that foster community and connection among Little People and their families.

At TODA, we believe that every individual deserves to be seen beyond their diagnosis while also creating a strong, supportive network for families, friends, and allies.

Through events, fundraising and advocacy we work to break down barriers and build a more inclusive world—one where people with dwarfism are recognized for their abilities, strengths, and unique contributions.

Our Story

The Ontario Dwarfism Association (TODA) was founded by three moms with a shared passion for advocacy, inclusion, and community. Together, we bring unique perspectives—one of us is a little person raising average-height children, while the other two are average-height parents raising children with dwarfism.

Through our different experiences we realized there were not enough spaces where our voices and the voices of others in our community were truly heard. This gap left an opportunity to offer more support, resources, and community involvement for those with dwarfism and their families in Ontario. TODA was created to fill that gap.

Our mission is to foster connection, provide valuable resources, advocate for a more inclusive world and fundraise to continue to be able to amplify the voices of our community. TODA is more than just an organization—it’s a community where individuals with dwarfism and their families can find support, understanding, empowerment and connection.
